PATTERNED GLASS: ATMOSPHERE, LIGHT AND PRIVACY ONE GLASS SOLUTION
Patterned glass (also called structural glass) is the choice when you want to let daylight in, but prefer not to have full view everywhere. The relief in the glass diffuses the light nicely and creates a nice balance between openness and privacy. The degree of transparency depends on the pattern, the structure and, in the case of insulating glass, whether the pattern is on one or both sides.
WHAT EXACTLY IS PATTERNED GLASS?
Figure glass is flat glass with a visible pattern or structure (think ridges, stripes or a subtle 'bubble' texture). The pattern is rolled into the still-warm glass during production: the glass runs between rollers, giving it the desired pattern. This can be done on one side or both sides, depending on the look you are looking for.
