TRIPLE EN DUBBEL ISOLATIEGLAS
Isolatieglas verhoogt de warmte-isolatie van een binnenruimte en bestaat uit twee (dubbel isolatieglas) of drie (triple isolatieglas) glasplaten.
KENMERKEN VAN TRIPLE EN DUBBEL ISOLATIEGLAS
Dubbel isolatieglas bestaat uit twee glasplaten met daartussen een spouw gevuld met edelgas en een speciale isolerende coating. Triple isolatieglas bestaat uit drie glasplaten, waardoor een tweede spouw ontstaat die gevuld is met edelgas. Door de extra glasplaat, de tweede tussenruimte en de tweede coating houdt triple isolatieglas ongeveer 40% meer warmte binnen dan dubbel isolatieglas.
APPLICATION
Dubbel isolatieglas is tegenwoordig de standaardkeuze bij zowel nieuwbouw als renovatie. Voor een pand dat zeer energiebewust is gebouwd, is triple isolatieglas de voor de hand liggende keuze. Triple isolatieglas isoleert beter, maar is dikker en behoorlijk zwaar. Bij renovatie zal daarom ook het kozijn moeten worden vervangen.
