RIVER CRUISE SHIPS
For Den Breejen Shipyard in Hardinxveld, Martin Glas supplied the complete facade glazing for a new river cruise ship. Different requirements apply to ships than to buildings, especially when it comes to glass. This calls for specific knowledge and a practical approach.

CUSTOMISED GLASS FOR SAILING APPLICATIONS
Martin Glas supplied all the windows for the facade - fully customised. Not only technically different, but also in terms of colour and shape. Windows with a parsol tint are not standard in combination with this standard. We made sure everything fitted exactly and was delivered on time. The assembly and finishing of the facade work was done by Metaglas, which was responsible for the windows, doors and profiles on board.Ships often do not have standard shapes. Think slanting lines and rounded corners. The glass has to conform to that. Add to that the ISO 614 requirements and you have a project for which you are not looking for a one-off supplier.
